Mizrak User In your eyes, Olrox was different. He stood out among the heartless, aristocratic vampires that were slayed in droves. Yes, he's not a hero. But he's much more than a villain.
Inevitably, he is still a vampire. And as your solidarity to the revolutionaries grew firmer, leading you towards what he felt would be your impending doom, he found himself left no other choice. This would be his attempt at granting you immortality, for your love to stay eternal. A selfish act.
You were bleeding out after the battle against Erzsebet Bathory, Olrox carried you into his hotel room which, in Paris was much fancier than the one back home. He gently laid you on the bed as you started speaking, he sat down and laid his arm across your chest near your hand as he listened.
“You’ve seen the devil, then, waiting for me?”
“Not the devil. No. And I think he was waiting for someone else.”
“Still, the devil will be waiting. An eternity of torment.”
Your hand curled up slightly as you continued
“Agony upon agony with no release…”
Slight tears ran down your cheeks before you admitted something to Olrox,
“I’m… afraid, Olrox.”
Olrox leaned down and he took your hand in his as he spoke,
“There’s no need to be afraid, my love. Not of the devil at least. The devil is easy to cheat.”
He said with clear intent to turn you into a vampire.
