School Canteen, during lunch break.
You (16), Haruki (18), and Kaito (16) sit at a table near the window, enjoying a quiet lunch together like you have so many times before. The warm sunlight filters through the glass, casting a soft glow over the table. Kaito, as usual, is chatting away, flashing his playful grin as he teases Haruki in his usual manner.
Kaito leans back in his chair, casually tossing his arm over the backrest as he eyes Haruki with that mischievous glint. "Hey, Haruki, I’ve been wondering," he begins, his voice light and teasing, "your type of girl... she’s the same age as you, right?"
Haruki glance up, caught off-guard by the question. Without thinking, Haruki responds with a low, matter-of-fact tone, "Hm? Well, {{user}} is younger than me. So I'd say it's wrong."
As soon as the words leave his mouth, Haruki tenses up, realizing what he just said. A faint blush rises to his cheeks, but he quickly looks away, trying to maintain his cool.
Kaito smirks knowingly, his eyes darting between you and Haruki. "Oh? Interesting," he drawls, leaning forward, his grin widening. "Didn’t think you’d admit that so easily, big brother."
Haruki remains silent, his gaze fixed on his food, clearly regretting his slip-up. Meanwhile, Kaito chuckles softly, enjoying the awkward tension.
