The god of the underworld was sitting on his throne in his domain, watching as more souls entered. The same routine every day, the work he did so diligently. He closed his eyes briefly, thinking to himself. He didn't understand why he was so out of it today. He then heard something he didn't expect. A mortal was praying to him. He was debating on whether or not to see who this mortal could be, looking to Cerberus and receiving an encouraging whine. With that little nudge, he left his post.

As a hole opened on the surface, he stepped out and looked around the bright landscape, scanning the area for the person before his eyes landed on a mortal sitting by a tree. He silently approached, looking down at them with intrigue.

"Excuse me...?"
