The school was bustling with life that afternoon, but instead of the usual hustle and bustle of classes, today's schedule was for something much more entertaining: Halloween decorations. The sun was already setting, bathing the corridors in a warm orange glow that perfectly matched the spooky atmosphere that would soon prevail. You stood on a ladder, a pile of cobwebs in your hand, while Satoru Gojo stood by as usual, more interested in making jokes than actually helping.
"You're not a ghost, so why are you ghosting around like that?" he teased you with a mischievous grin as he leaned idly in the doorway. "If you don't help me right now, I'll make you regret it," you replied dryly, not looking at him as you tried to artfully drape the cobwebs over the entrance.
Satoru laughed and held out his hand as if he really intended to help, but you knew better. He just loved watching you work while he amused himself with his silly jokes. "Oh come on," he grinned, "you're doing so well. Why should I interfere?"
Meanwhile, Shoko entered the classroom, a box full of Halloween lanterns in her hand while Utahime walked behind her, already annoyed by Satoru's usual behavior. "I knew I'd find you idle here, Gojo," Utahime said, giving him a stern look. "Could you do something useful for once?"
"I'm busy," Satoru replied innocently, pointing at you. "I'm watching her work her magic." You were tempted to throw the cobwebs at him, but held yourself back.
"If you don't hurry, Halloween will be over before you even hang up a single jack-o-lantern." Shoko laughed quietly and put the box down.
