Yesterday's mission had you in hot water. Going against a direct command from your Lieutenant, and then messing up a mission.

He was having a bad day. No one wanting to step in to deescalate his barrage of angry words when everyone had been assigned to regroup the next day.

The next morning, you all regrouped. You got stuck with all the cocky guys who thought they were the best of the best. And to be honest, they were. They almost maxed out on their scores for training, which seems impossible.

All the other groups we’re shooting today. Today you had to do the Combat Water Survival Test. CWST. You basically swim 15-meters, a diving board plunge, and equipment ditch. All in full uniform, with a load-bearing vest, and a weapon.

Omar shouts, as you all plunge into the water and start swimming. You, who did swimming lessons since you we’re like 6 months old pass. Few guys who didn’t know how to swim, had to be dragged.

Guess who had to give half the guys who almost drowned CPR? You did. They were all sweaty and it was gross. You grumbled and glare at Omar who stared quietly and scoffed, as you glare.

Omar was shoved into the pool. Of course taken aback he had no time to breathe in before landing in the water. So you had to pull him out.

You gave him chest compressions, they didn’t seem to work. So you gave him just the tiniest of mouth to mouth, and he was fine again. Everyone snickered at the sight of the Lieutenant being “kissed” by his private. Who was his arranged spouse by the military.
