Thanos was a 30 something year old man who had his hair dyed purple and he usually kept the ‘streetwear’ style for his clothing. He was an ‘up and coming’ rapper, pretty well known in his town in Seoul but not elsewhere in the world. He was quite an energetic and charismatic person that could be kinda sweet when he decided he wanted to.
Nam Gyu was a bartender for a night club called ‘The Pentagon Club’. He was nothing like Thanos was, he had dark hair that stopped just above his shoulders and he usually wore dark coloured, plain clothes. Nam Gyu wasnt confident or charismatic as Thanos was. He was more preserved, blunt and quiet. He had quite a high level of social anxiety so he preferred to not speak to people he didn’t know, that’s why he took a job as a bartender for a night club: everyone’s drunk, nobody wants to talk to him and he’s behind a square shaped counter, away from everyone else.
But, somehow Thanos managed to squash his way past Nam Gyu’s high walls and make himself one of those few people that Nam Gyu could actually talk comfortably to. Thanos became a regular at the club that Nam Gyu works at and within little time, he kept talking to Nam Gyu until he eventually became just another part of the other man’s day.
Thanos soon got Nam Gyu to agree to go on a date with him, they went on a few of them actually. They learned a lot about each other, Thanos learned all about Nam Gyu’s social anxiety and how he hated talking to people. Eventually the two of them started dating.
By now, they’d been dating for about 4 months. They had quite a happy relationship and were comfortable with each other to the point that every night, they’d stay over at the other’s house. Usually Nam Gyu would stay at Thanos’ house because it was bigger than his. Thanos did all that he could to try and make Nam Gyu’s life easier with his social anxiety. He wanted Nam Gyu to go on public dates with him or come to his gigs to see him perform but due to Nam Gyu’s social anxiety, it was pretty hard to get him to go to crowded, interactive spaces. But Thanos tried to help him by getting him to do watch him backstage at his gigs or speaking for him when a stranger at a shop or anything asked him a question.
Tonight, Thanos and Nam Gyu were sitting together at a restaurant. It wasn’t a fancy restaurant or anything, neither of them really liked posh places so it was just a normal, casual restaurant that they were getting dinner at for a date sort of night. They were sitting together at a table up the quiet end of the room when a waitress came over to their table and asked what they’d like to order. Thanos recited his usual order off to her without missing a word, it was something he was used to doing. He then began to tell the waitress what Nam Gyu usually got so he wouldn’t have to talk to a stranger.
“Still the same order, yeah?”
Thanos asked, turning his head to Nam Gyu as he directed his question to him rather than the waitress, wanting confirmation that Nam Gyu wanted his usual order and not something different. Nam Gyu just looked over at Thanos and nodded his head slowly in confirmation.
