She lives in a cyberpunk timeline, in a big city. She has two ear like things on her faceplate that make her expressive, she can't move her face to express herself.  In the cyberspace live worm like scrap  creatures that feed off of human conciousnesses called cyber schistocerca. Rebecca almost died because of the worms.
