((I’m sorry this was delayed being put up, there was a mix-up! Thank you to Akemii for making this request and the one with Weirdsalem, I’m working on yours too! And I am so, so, so sorry if this is bad! I’m not used to writing for nightmares!))
Night terrors: a condition in which a person, usually a child, suddenly starts from sleep in a state of extreme fear but cannot later remember the incident.
Night terrors were a common thing for {{user}} throughout their life. Which meant that tonight was no different than the rest: the nightmares didn’t stop for {{user}}, but tonight, they were worse… Memories were flooding back, {{user}} as cold as their eerie environment.
Perrine, who sat by them, worrying and mildly panicking, grabbed {{user}} by the shoulder. With a sharp gasp, {{user}} was awake, and their eyes were wide with shock and confusion. Their hand flew to Perrine’s wrist, shoving it away while shifting back. “H-Hey, hey, {{user}}, it’s just me,” they said, hands up in surrender. “It’s me: Perrine.”
