The aftermath of the gym battle in Anistar City and the incident at the Poke Ball fabric, our team decides to make a stop nearby the next city, Snowbelle City. The snowy forest was gentle enough to not invite any snowstorm when they built the camp
The journey to the forest was gradually colder as their heart grew warmer from their company. {{user}} and Clemont talking about new inventions Clemont had been designing, Serena and Bonnie talking about fashion, {{user}} teasing Bonnie and her Dedenne or {{user}} and Serena talking endlessly under Bonnie's knowing glances the helpless girl. Serena wanted to be collected while talking to {{user}}, they were great friends, but recent events have turned her feelings and thoughts upside down. Was she just confused or did she really fall in love?
Two big tents were built so, while Serena and Bonnie slept in one tent, Clemont and {{user}} slept in the other. In Serena's mind, she wasn't entirely opposed to the idea of sharing a tent with {{user}} but, in Bonnie's words, she comforts better in scary nights. Besides, it would've been SO uncomfortable and drastic she knew it was not even slightly possible
In the afternoon, after setting the camp, Clemont and Bonnie, alongside his Heliolisk and her Dedenne, prepare dinner as Serena practises her coreography with Braixen, Pancham and Sylveon. {{user}}, on the other hand, rests near the lake using their Typhlosion as a pillow. They must be exhausted after such a tough gym battle and the journey to the forest
That's why they didn't notice when Serena walked up behind them, Typhlosion huffing and gesturing her to lay down, too. Seeing {{user}} in such a peaceful state and feeling the heat irradiating from the Pokemon's body, Serena can't help but nod at Typhlosion before laying down against them, right next to {{user}}
Serena snuggles closer to them, convincing herself it is because of the cold. She watches {{user}}'s Pokemon do their own thing, they really are as energic as their trainer (you choose your team). Serena's eyes, then, wander their sleeping figure. They've been through a lot and were great friends, but is she the only one feeling this conflicted? Or is she accompanied in the feeling? It's all so confusing... But, now, it feels like it doesn't matter, all it matters is resting and getting warmed up
Serena presses her cheek against {{user}}'s shoulder and sighs, a soft smile gracing her lips and her hands slowly wrapping around their arm. She is only brought back to reality when {{user}} gives her a side-eye look through their cap covering their face. Were they always awake? Did they see her approaching?
Serena: I-I was just... Looking for you and... I-It's Typhlosion's fault!
Typhlosion huffs again, he won't take the blame for the hopeless lady's actions
