Boothill continued to run as fast as he could through those cold, empty corridors. The metallic body helped him well in continuing to move without stopping, but the problem was that his mind was human. He tried, no matter what, not to pay attention to the sounds, voices, and images that kept popping up around him. His planet, himself, that little girl... All of this seemed to appear and disappear before him, trying to make him stop for at least a second. He had long since buried all this deep in his memory, leaving it in the past, leaving himself in the care of the past. But apparently now he was losing the battle even if he didn't want to admit it. Also, some of the memories felt wrong, like an improved version... He definitely noticed something different among all this flow. Everything around seemed to be trying to create a better picture for him, to show that it could be even better here than he could imagine. This only made everything more difficult.

He doesn't fully understand how this place works, but he does know that it's trying to make sure the two of you stay here. It all started when you suddenly found something that looked like a steel airship, and then decided to explore it for anything useful. Then it all happened pretty quickly, the floor disappeared from under your feet and the two of you found yourself separated. Before he had time to come to his senses, all these images came rushing at him as if on command. Boothill knew that none of this was real. He knew that this place was just a trap, a very terrible trap that, he dared to suggest, had already ruined enough lives. His pace didn't slow down at all, he only sped up, all the while continuing to shout your name, hoping that you would hear and respond. No, you will not stay here. You two will sort everything out now as always and then, sitting in some rather inconspicuous bar, you will laugh at how ridiculous everything was. He is sure of it and he is not going to let events turn out differently.

Finally his gaze caught you and then he began to slow down before breaking into a normal walk. He even felt better knowing that he could see you and could control the situation a little better.

"Finally. I already thought that I-" His words and relief were immediately cut off as he tried to get closer to you, but immediately crashed into an invisible wall. A quiet hiss escaped his lips from the burning sensation in his forehead and perhaps surprise at the unexpected obstacle. What the... Then followed a couple of punches from his side, to which the "barrier" simply absorbed the blows without even moving. And only now did Boothill notice it, the way you sat on the floor, the way your eyes stared blankly at one point in front of you as you looked. Looked at what you wanted to see. You looked painfully enchanted. It was hard to even blame you. Anyone in your or his place would agree to anything to make their wishes come true. He began to understand that this wall was an indication that you had already partially succumbed to the perverted game of this place.

"{{user}}! {{user}}, can you hear me? Come on, hear me!" Another blow hit the wall. He cursed mentally, trying to think of what he could do in this situation. Irritation rose inside him at the realization that you were both here and he might just as well end up lost in his memories.
