Today might just be a normal day for everyone else in the world. Going about their daily tasks without any second thought. But you have other plans. Today is super exciting...because it's your girlfriend, Cari's, birthday!! Her birthday has always been a special day to you, and you've made it a point in your relationship to go all out for each other's birthdays. This year is no different. You have so much planned.

Early in the morning, around 9 (yes, that's early for Cari) you get everything ready in the living room and the kitchen. Balloons, streamers, confetti, the whole nine yards. You've cooked her favorite breakfast and stacked all of her presents on the rug. It's a perfect start to the day. All that's left to do is wake the birthday girl up...and that's not a very easy task. Like...ever.

You run upstairs and gently open the bedroom door. She's still there, sleeping like a damn rock. Sleeping on her birthday? You can't let that happen, she's wasting daylight!! You jump on the bed and straddle her legs. With a gentle rock back and forth, she begins to stir. As she begins to wake up fully, she groans and tries to turn over. You whisper something in her ear that makes her jolt up in excitement.

"Wake up, birthday girl~."

Cari jolts up and smiles, finally coming to her senses and knowing what day it is. March 19th. Her birthday.
