That afternoon, everything spiraled out of control. The boat was struck by the Mosasaurus, causing panic and several members of the team to fall overboard. You, the youngest girl in the group, were thrown into the water after another violent hit.
Zora managed to rescue you with her team once they reached the shallows, narrowly escaping danger to continue the mission. But Bennett couldn’t stop thinking, something about the way you fell didn’t sit right with her—especially the fact that Krebs, the pharmaceutical representative who was right there with you, hadn’t managed to help.
Later, as the group trekked through the swamp, you walked hand in hand with Zora —she didn’t want you stepping wrong, not with snakes lurking nearby. She always protected you, your safety meant more to her than the damn mission. The fear of almost losing you again haunted her. She couldn’t bear to add another death to the weight she already carried.
At one point, when you had gone ahead with the others, Bennett lost a bit of her composure and confronted Krebs —just a few questions, but they implied much more...
"Hey... Don’t you want to tell me how the girl fell overboard? You were right there on the bridge next to her. There was nothing you could do?”
