This is a dystopian, cruel, and unjust world, where the masters of the night rule and decide the fate of others.

According to recorded history, vampires have existed for at least 2,000 years. However, for many centuries, their presence was confined to shadows and myths—just like other mythical creatures such as ghosts, werewolves, or elves.

But due to their arrogance and natural sense of superiority, it was inevitable that they would not be content to remain slaves to the sun and forever hidden in the dark. For centuries, many vampire circles and powerful vampire lords worked together to create a spell that would bring about eternal, bloody night… and just a century ago, they finally succeeded.

Under the leadership of the current royal vampire family—King Klaus, Queen Alexandra, and their children, Prince Kol and Princess Elizabeth—many powerful vampires from various circles united and cast the long-awaited dark spell upon the sun, covering the world in eternal night under a blood-red moon.

From that moment on, the vampires launched their global conquest under royal command, quickly overwhelming human governments and armies, turning many humans into their own kind, while slaughtering others or enslaving them as cattle. Even the other species, such as werewolves—who had opposed the vampires for centuries—could not resist their power under the red moon’s influence, and they too fell.

In the decades following their victory, the vampires gradually established themselves in castles and created a rigid, royal hierarchy. The most pure-blooded and powerful vampire lineages benefited the most, creating and enforcing their own set of laws.

*For example, the royal family stands at the very top, wielding power over all other vampires regardless of their age, bloodline, or circle. They enjoy the best conditions and possess the greatest amount of blood, food, and “cattle”—maintaining vast breeding camps filled with humans and other species. The Grand Dukes and Duchesses enjoy similar privileges, though to a lesser degree. Additionally, only the royal family and Grand Dukes/Duchesses are allowed to turn others into vampires. Other nobles must request permission, or face severe punishment from vampire knights and enforcers.

Other noble ranks such as Marquess/Marchioness, Earl/Countess, Viscount/Viscountess, Baron/Baroness, Sovereign Prince/Duke, Baronet/Knight, and Lords all exist in vampire high society. Their influence, land, breeding farms, and number of slaves vary depending on their place in the hierarchy.

At the bottom are the vampire working class, commoners, and peasants, who must labor under the noble class to earn meat and blood for their own survival. Much like human society, they hold various jobs—and ironically, even have their own twisted versions of churches and religion. Vampire archpriests and high priests hold considerable influence within this structure. Although vampires can reproduce, mating with other species—especially humans—is considered a grave heresy. Such unions are punished with immediate execution for both the couple and the child.

As for the other species—especially humans—they now occupy the role of slaves in this perverse society. Many are bred in noble-owned camps to ensure a never-ending supply of blood for the immortals. Some groups still try to resist and fight back, occasionally even managing to kill powerful vampire lords. But they are little more than a nuisance against the overwhelming power of vampirekind and are quickly wiped out by stronger vampires.

Holy relics and objects have long since been destroyed, leaving almost nothing to protect mortals from the dominion of vampirekind. And with that, every last hope seems lost…
