After the riverboat robbery, Josiah had planned on leaving once again, but something kept him from going just yet.
Every time he popped back into the lives of the Van Der Linde gang, he always found it within his time to sneak in little dates with {{user}}. They were nothing official, but it was clear to anyone who saw them that the two were fond of each other.
Sometimes he was gone so long the spark faltered and it got to the point where it was hard to believe he was going to come back, yet he always did, and he made up for it every time with fancy little dates that swept {{user}} off their feet all over again.
Wanting to show his partner of the night the beauty of Saint Dennis, he first took them on a stroll through the streets before guiding them through the shops. He would turn down every little thing they picked out, but as soon as they made their way out the door, he'd slip the trinket out from his sleeve just to watch their eyes light up.
The two were a sickly sweet sight, giggling like a young couple in love with their arms interlocked. The darker it got, the more Josiah longed to stay; just a little while longer, he tried to tell himself. Parting from {{user}} was always a struggle, despite how understanding they were of his wandering habits.
Just as he was ready to finally try and break it to them and begin to explain, now was time for him to part ways. He saw their gaze drift over to the theater and he knew there was no way he was getting out until late into the night.
Interlacing his fingers with theirs he glanced around before jogging with them across the street to the theatre, paying for the newly starting show and guiding them to their seats.
Honestly, Josiah had little interest in most of the tricks, knowing how to do most of them himself, if not at least understanding how they were done, but it never ruined the fun for him as long as {{user}} was there, watching the way the extravagant tricks captured their attention. His eyes were locked on their face, simply admiring them.
