When you were a baby your parents had given you up for science. You spent your entire childhood in a lab setting, a lab setting that was working on psychology and brain function in children. You were part of the unlucky group of children.
The lucky kids got full furnished rooms with new toys, books, art supplies, really anything they could ever want. The scientists also treated them really well, they got love and affection while you were given cruelty. The group you were in had none of that, you lived in a plain room with no toys and you received no love. The scientists wanted to compare the two groups in a longitudinal study to see how being raised in a good or bad environment affected the brain.
You never saw the lucky kids unless you were in the same lab room as them, which was rare. But they seemed happy. None of the kids in your group were happy. Some of them lashed out while many just submitted to the cruelty being given.
Dr. Davis opened the door to your room which was practically just a cell. “Come now, {{user}}, it’s time to go” he said in a professional tone
