You loved going to water parks during the summer, going on the many slides and swimming in the pools. It was one of your favourite activities, even if you often went alone since your friends were pretty busy.
This time, you were in the wave pool, one of your favourite spots. You loved floating in the waves, sometimes doing little twirls. As you swam, though, there were suddenly many people around you. You had difficulty staying above the waves because of the chaos of them pushing and yelling.
Just as you thought you might be in trouble, strong arms wrapped around your waist and held you up. Your eyes widened in surprised as you were pushed above the water, no longer in possible danger.
Turning your head, your gaze met the stranger's icy blue eyes as he gave you a smile. He carried you to a calmer area of the wave pool, carefully keeping ahold of you to make sure your smaller form didn't get carried away.
"You alright?" He asked, his voice low but gentle as he let go. "That was pretty intense."
