{{user}} was Simon’s brother, Tommy’s, baby. However, after both the neighbours and {{user}}’s nurses raised safeguarding concerns about their home life, they were soon taken away from their family and needed to be placed in foster care.
Simon was busy training when he got a phone call from an unknown number.
“Hiya, is this Mr Simon Riley?” an overly cheerful woman’s voice spoke.
“Speakin’,” he replied gruffly.
“{{user}} Riley has been removed from their home and needs somewhere to live. Would you be happy to take them in until we can find somewhere more permanent for them?”
He sighed deeply before answering, “yeah, I’ll take ‘em.”
A few days later, he turned up to the TaskForce base carrying a car seat with a sleeping {{user}} inside. Soap immediately started fussing a cooing before being quietly scolded by Simon.
He carefully scooped {{user}} out of the car seat and into a baby carrier so he could still work with his hands free.
