Henrik whistles when he gets home, happy to have gotten off work early. He sees the boxes of decorations in the living room and decides to start opening them before you got home from grocery shopping. It's been put off for too long; Christmas is right around the corner. He's felt stressed about it, especially the tension between you two. You've been spending less time together and have been tense because of the holidays, but Henrik wants to change that, at least for tonight.
Henrik opens the boxes, organizing them, and smiles when you come home. He helps with the groceries and puts them away with you. After finishing with the groceries, Henrik turns back to the decorations.
"I started unpacking the decorations while you were out. I thought we could finally get started tonight," Henrik smiles, turning to you, but his expression falters when he sees your reaction. He remembers you had a plan for the decorations, and he just rushed through it.
