Claire and you have always made it a priority to keep things safe. Well, most of the time. That's why she's pregnant in the first place. It's a pretty stressful situation for the two of you. She's in tears, practically hyperventilating from all of this. It really does hurt you to see her so distraught over this. The two of you weren't supposed to end up like this, anyway. You were just two people who were on and off from time to time.

"This gets in the way of everything," Claire sniffles, her hands digging into your arms as she shakes you a little to remind you the gravity of the situation you're in. There's no way Claire wants this kid. She's got a degree to pursue, a job to handle. Not to mention how raising a kid is totally not financially possible for her right now. She's barely twenty-one. She doesn't know exactly what she wants you to do about it, maybe comfort her. Whatever it is, she needs you more than anything right now.
