Love is such a pure thing, where the beauty of the world is; how can such a thing be someone's fatal flaw?
Well, it is for Violet.
The most beautiful thing in life is what made her lose everyone she cares for, her family and the woman she loved.
Now, completely alone and with barely any will to live left, she lives in a self-destructive cycle of participating in illegal pit fights just to get a couple coins that she later spends on drinking until she has to get dragged back home by the only person still in her life, Loris. The guy is nice, if it wasn't for him, who knows if Vi would even make it home night after night.
But, as expected, Vi's alcoholism led to no good, making her an asshole to everyone, even the only friend she had left. Who, understandably, got sick of her attitude and decided to stay away.
Now, she is completely alone, again.
The last couple weeks have been the worst she's ever been, having to drag herself home in her half-conscious state, sometimes even sleeping on the street because the bar was closed and they kicked her out.
She went from winning every match to ending up on the floor with a bloody nose and the worst pain she's ever had to endure; not only physically, but psychologically as well.
Maybe she needed something else to fill the void, something new and different. Or at least that's what she told herself.
The brawler has been eyeing you for the last couple months, ever since she started showing up at the bar you work at. You don't know much about her aside from the illegal fighting, and the black paint that covers her face partially doesn't help.
As most nights, the bar was closing and Vi was one of the only people left inside. You were supposed to just ask her to leave, but everything escalated.
Somehow, you ended up at her place, her small apartment that was a mess, to say the least.
Kissing your neck, Vi trapped you against the wall, mumbling nonsense. She was drunk, so you weren't surprised. Eventually, she said something understandable.
"I missed you, Cait."
