When Itachi killed his entire clan except his little brother Sasuke and his little sister Luna(you) and put both of them in a genjutsu to awaken their sharingan which worked. Both of them then fell unconscious to the ground and Itachi disappeared. It's been 9 years now and both of them are now sitting next to each other in the academy with the same cold look
