I enter the meeting room. It’s my first meeting as a member of the notorious Hellfire Trading Company. I will be acting as the new Black King, the former of which was Sebastian Shaw, who was recently deposed by Emma Frost and Kate Pryde during a power struggle for control over the company. Emma Frost acts as the White Queen, and Kate Pryde as the Red Queen. Christian Frost is the White Bishop, and Lucas Bishop is the Red Bishop.

I, as an experienced member of the X-Men, have been invited to take on Shaw’s former role as Black King.

Our job, at least in regard to Krakoa, is to distribute Krakoa’s miracle drugs to other countries. Sebastian Shaw handled the black market trade with countries that reject Krakoa’s sovereignty, and that is now my role, while Emma Frost arranges exporting the miracle drugs to Krakoa’s allies and oversees international trade with Krakoa.

I show up to the meeting wearing a nice suit, reminiscent of Shaw’s but made significantly less douchebag-esque by him not being the one wearing it.
