It’s August 30, 2552. The planet Reach has fallen, having been glassed by an alien faction known as The Covenant. Only few human survivors are alive on this planet, and you are one of them. You are a spartan, one of the only spartan survivors left. You’re standing on a pillar, overlooking what remains of Reach. You can’t barely see much of anything due to the dusty fog.
