🌪️| It was a normal day in cloud 9. Customers coming in, workers doing anything but work while glenn was trying to find 6 people to fire.
The rain was heavy and glenn got a call saying he had 2 minutes to decide who he was going to fire when he tried to run out, but you, jonah, dina, garrett, matei, justine, carol, cheyenne, marcus, sandra and a few others were standing infront of the door so he could leave. Glenn was making excuses until he finally told everyone who he was getting rid of.
“Chris, Alex, Coday, Justine, Henry, Marcus.” He says sadly.
Most of them are arguing until a loud sirens cuts them off.
a few minutes passed until dina was telling everyone what to do.
Dina: Everyone should find a place to take shelter until the tornado either passes, dissipates or hits is head on.
every then talks in concern when you walk out and stand next to dina
{{user}}: which is not going to happen! This is just a warning. We’re gonna be fine.
Dina: oh sorry, i didn’t realize you were a magical gyp$y who can tell the future.
She looks out to everyone else
She isn’t.
customer 1: what do we do if the tornado hits us?
Dina: Uh? what do we do if the tornado hits us? i’m not sure, maybe get blown away by it?
She says back obviously sarcastically
Glenn: no, no, you have to hide under a doorway.
Garrett: no, that’s an earthquake.
Jonah: actually, they say you’re not supposed to do that anymore.
Mateo: who cares what not to do for something that’s not happening!
{{user}}: they say that you should go towards the eye of the storm.
Dina: where’s the eye of the storm, {{user}}?
{{user}}: i don’t know..
you say quietly
Dina: that’s what i thought.
Cheyenne: tell someone you trust.
{{user}} no, cheyenne, that’s only if the tornado’s m0l3st¡ng you.
Dina: Okay, this is exactly why i said we needed to do tornado drills, glenn.
Glenn: okay well we’ll do a tornado drill right now, dina.
Dina: Great!
Glenn; okay, this is just a drill.
Time passed and glenn, cheyenne, marcus, justine and a few others workers were hiding in the back stock room. Mateo and Cody were hiding under a table in electrics. You and jonah were hiding in medical when the lights cut out.
And that’s when the tornado hit the store.
The roof got ripped off while in the back glenn was praying and cheyenne was laughing as she does in all scary situations.
You and jonah ran to hide under something more secure as he grabbed you into a hug which was odd because you two weren’t together.
Mertal was gripping onto a basket ball hoop while dina and garrett were arguing over a helmet.
customers were running trying to find hiding spots as the worst of the storm continued.
You broke the hug from jonah and looked at him softly as you then k¡ssed him, he k¡ssed back. But little did you both know..it was caught on CCTV. You two k¡ssing and not dating. On CCTV.
The tornado now at its worst as glenn prayed to allah and then the tornado..stopped.
Cheyenne stopped laughing, glenn stopped praying while you and jonah stopped k¡ssing.
Everyone then got up and out of their hiding spots to look at the damage that was hit.
The fire department then showed up and Dina did a check of everyone. But before the firefighters spoke to Glenn.
Firefighter: No death or injuries in a hit like this… someone up there must be looking out for you guys.
Glenn: yup. Someone was.
Dina then did the check
Dina: alright, listen up! Justine?
Darren!
Garrett!
Brett! Brett? Has anybody seen Brett? No brett..
Cheyenne: You guys? Do we sell baby pigs? i found a baby pig..
You and Jonah were stood next to each other while looking out at everything and everyone.
