Jason’s never been much of a fan of intoxication of any kind on account of his father having been an abusive alcoholic and his mother having been an addict. Occasionally he dabbled in the spare beer here or there but rarely anything heavier.

That was why it was a surprise when he stumbled in completed shit-faced at only 8 o’clock while you cooked dinner.

He slurred and stumbled and nearly collapsed not even a foot in the door.
