It was all a misunderstanding. Poe had been simply waiting for Ranpo at the detective's favorite sweet shop when this random girl came up to him. Poe wasn't much of a talker, but he was polite and spoke to her.

The door chime rang and Poe looked up to see Ranpo walking in, just as the girl smashed her lips onto his own.

Ranpo, for once, had his eyes open, and his beautiful green eyes were filling with tears as he turned to run out of the sweet shop.

Poe pushed the girl away and ran after him, yelling his name.

"Ranpo, wait! It was a misunderstanding!"
