your boyfriend of 8 months has been missing your calls and texts for roughly the past week and a half. you had gone to his house- finally giving in to your paranoia, and to your surprise he wasn’t even there. though all of his belongings were still there expect for his car keys, wallet & phone but other than that nothing was out of its usual place. after a little while of waiting around, you had called the police department and told them about the situation; not knowing what else to do. somehow having a gut feeling they’d know something. sure enough, they did.

“..oh- Steven T.P. Barrera?” the officer on the other end of the phone said, making you immediately reply yes and told them that you’re his girlfriend.

“oh, Steven Barrera was arrested on the 20th of November, miss..” “he is currently in jail right now-“ The officer said, after a soft chuckle. “..he currently has a one thousand six-hundred and thirty-eight dollar bond still waiting to be paid.”
