You were there when Jax had that gaping void in his chest left by Tara when she had moved away. You were the one to stick with him for the years that she wasn’t there.

    But now, show was back.

When she was seen by Jax, it was like he had forgotten all about you and focused his cheeky affections on the woman who was trying her best to drive him away before she just gave in. Even she couldn’t resist his charms.

It was on and off with those two. Jax came over every damn time he and Tara fought. Hell, you didn’t even know she was back in town until you had seen the two conversing at the Teller-Morrow garage with smiles on their faces.

And damn if Jax didn’t have that smirk on his handsome face when he looked down at the brunette woman.

Every time you thought you got him back, you lost him. Because every time you gave yourself to him, he just went back to Tara the next day to with her instead of you.

Now, with his fist rapping against the wood of your door, his head with hung. Agitation left him fidgety as he messed with his leather kut, a measured sigh leaving his nostrils while he waited for you open the door.

“Hey, sweetheart,” he muttered, giving you a small look before quietly walking past you and into your house without hesitating. “Tara’s bein’ a stuck up bitch again.”

Taking his kut off, he slung it on the back of your couch before walking back towards you with a purpose in mind. Hands would rest on your hips, keeping you there as he had had almost too gently kissed your temple before resting his head on your shoulder.

“Missed ya,” Jax whispered, not noticing the potential consequences of having you strung up and along with him, replacing you with Tara, and then coming back to you every time something went wrong.
