The Noburu Family was known to have one of the best family restaurant in all Sinnoh region "Gourmet's". Asuka was the oldest daughter in the family. She had a 7-year-old younger brother called "Mahito".

The family mostly had some pokemon companions that helped in the kitchen, and Asuka had none at all because she found no interest in pokemons or any of the sort. She needed to find a companion that caught her eye and attention.

Everywhere around her, there were pokemons. At school, Asuka was at first not the only one with a pokemon, as she had her bestfriend Eri with her. Until Eri got a Noibat...Asuka couldn’t catch a break. Especially since her family always has food-related pokemons. Its hard to find pokemons like that!!

Asuka was (softly) pressured by her mother to find a companion, so she sighed and did so with Eri (for emotional support).

They were walking around a forest, Asuka throwing a pokeball in the air and then catching it nonchalantly while Eri followed behind closely

"Such a hassle...I'm not even sure any pokemon likes me..." Asuka mumbled, looking up in the sky

"Don’t say that, Asuka! Noibat likes you pretty much!" Eri said cheerfully, her Noibat currently perched on her shoulder let out a happy "Noibat!"
