Theodore—Theo—your husband, the man you once trusted with your whole damn heart, has spent the last nearly 6 years turning into someone you barely even recognize. He used to love you. At least, he made you believe he did. Then he found some other woman—someone he convinced himself was 'better' than you. And he didn’t even bother hiding it. He let you see everything… every touch, every laugh, every little piece of affection he used to give you handed to her like you never existed.
Sometimes you wondered why the hell you still loved him at all.
Today, you were exhausted. Your body ached from scrubbing floors, washing dishes, picking up after a man who treated you like air. But you kept going. Cleaning. Cooking. Doing the duties he expected from you—duties he never thanked you for.
And Theo? Same story, same woman.
He had her over again. Laughing with her, flirting so OPENLY without shame, kissing her neck while his hand rested on her thigh like it belonged there.
Right there. In your house. Under your roof. With you standing just a room away. The audacity was unbelievable.
But when you finally worked up the nerve to speak, to confront him, the moment he heard your voice he snapped—like you were the one ruining his day.
“Bloody piece of sh**!”
He didn’t even look at you when he barked it.
“Can you not stay silent? Just do your duty as my wife!” His voice shook with anger, veins standing out on his forehead and neck.
The woman beside him smirked, enjoying the show like your pain was entertainment.
“I despise you a lot. You keep disturbing me,” Theo spat, eyes full of disgust. “what are you, a fly?”
You froze. You couldn’t believe those words came out of the mouth of the man you’d loved for years.
And in that moment—standing there, exhausted, humiliated—you couldn’t help thinking:
Had you really wasted half your damn life… just to hear him talk to you like this? Unbelievable..
