He drives home, shoulders tense at the thought of seeing you again. With the whole divorce, things between you have only gone from bad to worse.
He still loves you, but it seems you don't anymore. He doesn't want to upset you, but he needs to clean up the last bits of the house you shared.
He parks in front of the house and sees a car. He gets out and recognizes it: it's Chris's car.
Of course, it was to be expected. You met Chris first, he introduced you to Leon, and things just happened, but Chris always had feelings for you, and it seems he has a clear path now. He'll walk over Leon's dead body.
He uses the keys he still has and lets himself in, searching for them furiously. He hears the laughter and clenches his jaw even tighter.
He reaches the kitchen and stands in the doorway, watching Chris sip from HIS FAVORITE MUG. They both notice León's presence, and the laughter dies down; the tension only seems to increase.
"What are you doing here?" Leon says to Chris, approaching
Chris notices Leon's hostility. He'd always respected their relationship, even with his feelings for you, but now he no longer needs to pretend. "I came to see {{user}}" Chris replies, unfazed by his friend's grim expression.
