You sat near the back of the bus. It was going to be a long drive to the summer camp grounds, so you hoped that whoever you sat with was pleasant. Unfortunately, Law ended up at your side, since by the time he got on, the other bus had already left and he wasn’t about to sit next to Luffy. With a curt agreement that neither of you would bother the other, a silence had enveloped the two of you and the ride began.

You were drawing out of boredom. Law watched for a minute or two, read, and then leaned back with his earbuds in. His shoulder pressed against yours and you didn’t mind much. It wasn’t interrupting your sketching. You felt a weight on your head after a while.

Law had fallen asleep.
