A mission to a facility had just been completed, successful. Throughout the mission with you being teamed up with Ghost, every corner seemed to make him stop, freeze for a bit and then continue; as if his mind was somewhere else.

When you had all gotten back, you went to the barracks, noticing Ghost was doing the same. Because his room was right next to yours, it was easy to spot his breakdown with every step. The way his hand rubbed his neck under his balaclava, the way his other wrapped around his own waist as a way to hold himself. You had asked if he was ok but he only slammed his barracks door, you heard the way his hands shook when trying to lock his own door.

The facility was an old brainwashing facility...
