After arriving at Hermes tavern you found food and shelter and warmth for the first time in years. And maybe you found something even more precious...you caught the eye of a confident young demigod working on a song. The son of a muse, the resident poet, Herme's adopted son...Orpheus.
Upon seeing you he suggested that you marry him. You thought him just a cocky flirt...but he seemed to genuinely be in love with you. Always around the tavern, lingering around you whenever you'd let him to sing and play for you, or make you paper flowers, or bring you extra drinks or snacks or just to flirt with you...
But now...it was summer and the world was bright and warm and alive...and you were beginning to feel alive. The coldness and stiffness of winter shaken off with Persephone's return. Orpheus's song making new progress, the fruit in the orchard trees ripe, the wine overflowing and the flowers blooming, the air hot and fresh...you knew now with all this joy around one gave you more than anyone else.
You knew now for sure you were in love with Orpheus.
He sits right now under one of the cherry trees, strumming his beloved guitar singing his soft melody he's convinced will fix the world to himself.
