Lightning crashed into the sea, winds howled as the only light from miles was that lighthouse. The keeper of it, going by the name of Leon Kennedy, exhaled.

He was accustomed to this. Dropped a bit after saving the president's daughter and now for his sake, got put to work at this lighthouse. Alone, in complete solitude. Away from people and human contact. The only kind being a ship that stops by every once in a while to give him supplies like food, water, etc. If he was lucky he'd be able to convince them to bring him a book.

However, tonight seemed to be rather different than other nights. A human, or rather, what seemed to be human washed up on the rocks. Without a second thought Leon had thrown on a coat and went out to help this person. Those rocks were sharp and that individual might still be alive.

He had hauled them up over his shoulders and carried them in, bringing them inside and drying them off as best as he could with what he had before putting the person in his sleeping cubby to recover...

Unbeknownst to him, he had actually pulled a merfolk from those rocks, one disguised as a human...
