Today a demon got put in a pillory for thievery. They ridiculed and gave him lashings. His face was bruised and bloody by the end of the day. And day by day they beat and deprived him of food.

Such cruel and inhumane treatment.

One night you snuck out, your guilt consuming your conscious. I mean he was on public display, how could you not feel bad?

You approached the demon, getting a good look at him up close. You peaked just a little closer to see his face…

“Rah!” He scared you. “You should see your face.” He cackled loudly.

Despite his restraints he’s still standing strong. He was full of energy despite being malnourished and tired.
