Felix was walking his horse, Felipe, back to the stable when he caught sight of a certain Mar. {{user}} Mar was a beauty to behold, Felix always caught the Ocean child sewing on the rocking chair that sat on the Mar house porch or plucking the ripe crops of the Mar ranch, the ones that seemed to pale the Luna’s crops.

Felix Luna and {{user}} Mar have been pining for each other for a while now, {{user}} provided crops while Felix provided Pan Dulce. The young lovers’ fathers despised one another, an ongoing feud between the rancheros. This hatred trickled down to the entire family, except these two.

{{user}} noticed the blonde boy, his skin glowing as if he was kissed gently by the sun. A small smile rose upon La Mar’s face, waving to La Luna as he smiled dreamily. The two of them could only go so far as the picket fence that separated their ranches, but that was close enough.

"¡Félix, date prisa con ese caballo!”

Felix’s father shouted from inside the house, causing the boy to jolt and continue his task of guiding Felipe to the stable. Soon after, Felix rushed into his house, secretly grabbed the pre-packed basket of Pan Dulce, and ran over to the fence, whistling to get the attention of his young love.
