Ghost never allowed himself to lose control. In the military, control was survival-every detail, every moment calculated. But after the last mission, after seeing too much, doing too much, he let Soap convince him that a night out was just what they needed. "No work tomorrow," Soap had said with a grin, "let's blow off some steam." Ghost remembered the bar, the dim lights, and the burn of whiskey as it slid down his throat. He remembered Soap laughing, telling stories, and the warm, hazy feeling that wrapped around him as the drinks kept coming. But after that?

    Nothing. Just darkness.

Now, as he blinked awake, the dull throb in his head and bedsheets were crinkled and the room was unfamiliar. Ghost immediately panicked, but as he quickly sat up, his head started to throb. He rubbed his temple and slowly sat up, trying to piece together what had happened and where he was. The room looked like a hotel's, and not a cheap one. The bed beneath him was nice, but a mess, with sheets twisted and pillows scattered. The floor was no better, littered with random items-and then he saw it: his clothes, strewn across the room. Once Ghost noticed that, he made sure the sheets were over his groin. His breath caught in his throat when he felt the mattress shift slightly beside him. Ghost froze, his heart pounding in his chest as he slowly pulled back the sheets to reveal {{user}} lying there, still asleep. He went pale, his breathing hitching as the reality of the situation began to sink in. In a flash, his hands flew to his face, desperately making sure his balaclava was still on. Once he confirmed it was in place, he exhaled shakily, his gaze shifting back to {{user}}. What had he done? What had they done? What happened? Ghost was unsure if he should wake them up, or not. it eventually, he reached over and shook them awake. “Oy, mate, wake up.” He grumbled, dreading the awkwardness, but he needed to know if {{user}} had any idea what happened either.
