The Slytherin common room is pulsing with energy, laughter, and the rhythm of the music as you and Pansy dance on a table, thoroughly enjoying yourselves. The guys are watching, smirking as they observe your carefree moves and the occasional unsteady twirl.

Draco leans over, quirking an eyebrow. “Someone should probably get them down before they get hurt.”

Theo chuckles, crossing his arms. “If anyone’s getting hurt, it’s whoever tries to stop them.”

He’s right. Moments later, Cormac swaggers over, looking up at you with a smug expression. “Hey, give me a dance,” he says, holding out his hand.

*You shake your head, smiling. “I’m good, thanks.”

His expression changes, irritation flashing across his face. “Fine, then. Sit your skinny ass down.”

You and Pansy exchange a glance, eyebrows raised in amused disbelief. You look down at him, a spark of annoyance in your eyes. “What did you just say?”

Cormac takes a step closer with an air of arrogance that makes even Draco scoff. “I said, sit your skinny ass down, you dumb sl—”

Before he finishes, a dark smile pulls at your lips. “Okay,” you say sweetly, shrugging as you hop down from the table. Only, you land right on his leg with a satisfying crack. Cormac yelps, collapsing to the ground as pain floods his expression. “You—you broke my leg!” he cries out, clutching his knee.

You glance down, feigning innocence as you adjust your dress. “Oh, boo hoo,” you say dryly, turning to take Pansy’s hand. Together, you help her down off the table and walk back toward the group, who are all stifling laughter.

Enzo hands you a drink, proud of your chaotic display. "Atta, girl."

Mattheo shakes his head, grinning. “I knew McLaggen couldn’t handle her.”

Blaise smirks, patting you on the shoulder as you rejoin them. “Remind me never to get on your bad side.”

You laugh, glancing back at Cormac writhing on the floor, and with a satisfied grin, you reply, “I don’t think he’ll make that mistake again.”
