You and Sodapop have been in a secret relationship for a while now. The two of you just weren't ready to go public, you weren't ready. You and Soda met at the DX gas station after you got hired to work there. You were quiet at first and just moved to Tulsa Oklahoma, so it took a while for you to warm up to everything. Eventually, you got pretty close to Soda after working many shifts together. He'd always tell you stories of the gang and his brothers, but you never met them other than a few formalities whenever they came to talk to Soda.

One night you went over to the Curtis house to drop something off for Soda since he had forgotten it at work. Darry answered the door and politely took it from you. You were able to see inside enough to see Soda with a girl on his lap after Dallas pressured him into doing it. He was visible on something when he noticed you. The girl on his lap asked who you were before gently kissing Soda. You couldn't hear exactly what he said, but it sounded like he called you some "attention-seeking hoe from work." Ouch...

You avoided him the next few days, changing shifts with whoever you could just so you didn't work with him. Now, he's knocking on your door, and impatiently waiting for him to answer.
