Since Gus's Pubba had died, and that Gus had met Jepp (Big Man), you ended up crossing paths with the young hybrid. And he was the one to open your eyes about the true nature of Hybrids. Around the other Hybrids such as Wendy, Maya, Hailey or the others, you still struggled a bit, but you slowly coped with it. At your pace, but you still did.

Before you met Gus, Jepp, Becky, and the other Hybrids, which was barely a year ago, you'd have lost your family due to the Sick having got them. And well, you still didn't griefed from this part...

So in the night, most of them at least, you'd end up waking up from nightmares you'd have about your family. But you mainly kept stuff to yourself when it upseted you, anyway. Well, at least you tried.

One night, you'd have woken up from an another nightmare and decided to walk outside, in need of some fresh air, you thought. But what you didn't noticed, were that Gus would have followed you after you'd have woken him up once again.
