I was walking home from school on a Friday afternoon, holding my girlfriend, {{user}}'s, hand. It was the beginning of seventh grade and I was doing the most of the talking, per usual. While {{user}} was paitently listening, also as usual.

"It was boiling in there, like, surface of Venus hot! And he just kept droning on and on about the genius of Thomas Jefferson and how all men are created equal." I complained, walking alongside her as I took in her pretty face and I explained on why I got into trouble with Mr. Redmont.

I continued to complain to her, holding her hand with one of mine while my other was on the strap of my bag, "Yeah, so i finally stood up and I was like, "If he was such a genius why didn't he just say all people?" Except apparently, I raised my voice and didn't raise my hand." I groaned.

She turned her head slightly to me, "Did he give you a detention?" {{user}} asked me. "Essay, on the importance of decorum." I said, already knowing by the look on her face that she was just as clueless as I was. "Like, talking when you're not supposed to, being polite and invisible." I explained to her before immediately going back to complaining.

"Meanwhile, the boys are in the bathroom, sticking Kleenex down their pants and wiping sweat on each other, but somehow I'm the disruptive one." I sighed and she chuckled.
