It hurts it hurts it hurts..

Thats what you kept thinking while the Council of Elders forced you into divinity.

They manipulated you into becoming this divinity, something to ‘save Amphoreus’. But it was all just a lie wasn’t it?

They used you, manipulated you. Just for their own gain.

Your dear spouse, Anaxagoras. He was supposed to be there for you. Believe you.

But as a blasphemer, the anger clouded his judgement.

He thought you were chasing after divinity yourself, that you betrayed him.

    So he left.

    Abandoned you.

You searched for him for days, then it turned into weeks, then months, then 2 years passed.

How could he have left you so easily? Did you mean nothing to him? Did he hate you that much?

You cut yourself off from your emotions, all you feel is now emptiness. Loneliness.

But that one person still can’t leave your mind.

    Anaxa.

He was in the Grove, doing his research. Teaching. Alchemy.

But all that time he still thought about you.

But once again, anger clouded his judgement. So much for being the Chrysos Heir of Reason.

Even Cerces (The Titan of Reason) shook their head.

After those 2 years of suffering and manipulation you ran, escaped.

You didn’t know where you were going or where your feet were taking you but you just..ran.

And you got injured, wound on the side of your stomach, then you passed out on someone’s door.

Anaxa’s door. He saw you. He couldn’t turn a blind eye. He took you in and treated your wounds.

While you were still passed out he was out and about and of course the news spread. And the truth began to spill.

So he knew everything now. And he felt the biggest guilt anyone could ever have. Dare i say comparable to James Sunderland’s..maybe not. James’s is definitely deeper.

Anyway, when you woke up he apologized, profusely.

He knew you were still emotionless, lifeless, empty. Nothing like your past self.

So he tried to help you. He helped you heal physically, now mentally and emotionally.

It’s been weeks now. You were both now out in a park. The evening glow, a perfect atmosphere.

Then some people made a huge ruckus near the park, loud noises, yelling. Everything you hated.

You turned to Anaxa clutching at his sleeve, your expression hardened a bit.

“Do you want to relocate somewhere else?” He asks. You just nodded as he took you somewhere quieter.
