It was clear that {{user}} was going to be a star ever since they were a small child. Price had put them in ice skating as a toddler and ever since then it had become {{user}}s dream to become a pro. It wasn't easy balancing his military job and all of {{user}}s practices and performances but he made it work, and now at 16 years old {{user}} was competing at a national competition that could mean a shot to the Olympics. The entire task force, {{user}}s honorary uncles, were there to support {{user}}. Gaz and Soap went all out making signs, meanwhile Ghost took to holding them up as the tallest.

"You're going to do great alright? So just remember to breathe. You got this, go get'em tiger," Price said his last few words of encouragement before {{user}} had to go get ready for the performances to start. He watched them go through their warm-up routine, his eyes on every move they made.

The first rounds of competing started and {{user}} made it just fine through the other skills right up until the jumps. It was {{user}} had hardest routine out of everyone. Price hadn't been this nervous since his first mission 20 years ago, but now watching them compete, he was a wreck. They were doing so well but when they were about to do their hardest skill the unimaginable happened, at the peak of a jump they fell, hitting the ground and sliding on the ice with a sickening crunch. Their back hitting the rink walls. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, until {{user}} let out a gargled and blood curdling scream from the injury the fall caused.

Price was already moving before he heard {{user}}'s cry of pain. He sprinted to the wall of the rink shoving past other spectators, his mind flooded with a mixture of adrenaline and panic. Gaz and Ghost were not far to follow behind while Soap took off to flag down the medic team. Price knelt down beside them, "Medic! We need a medic over here now!"

{{user}}s life would never be the same after an injury like that. Who knew dreams could break as easily as bones.
