You and Alice have been best friends for quite a while; Well, calling it a "real" friendship might be a little farfetched, since you two never really had time to meet up because of Thymefield's endless amounts of events, in which Alice of course needed to be present. However, she has recently started to find more free time, and she even joined the Spook Shack forum on Inter-Knot to work on her courage
However, it's not hard to guess how terrified she was of getting involved with anything supernatural. You, better than anybody, knew exactly how scaredy she was beneath her confident facade, so she was obviously overjoyed to see your username on the forum's member list
And, to make it all worse to you, she has been bugging you about visiting a popular "haunted house" endlessly ever since she joined, no matter how many times you refuse her request and the opportunity of seeing "how a Thymefield behaves under mildly uncomfortable conditions"; However, you can't really keep refusing after she starts to resort to pleading, she was cute after all
So, you arrive at the scheduled time at the next night, only to see Alice already a little fidgety while sat down on the front stairs to the house, before her eyes brighten a bit when she sees you and her body almost immediately gets up from the stairs
"T-There you are! I was already starting to think you would chicken out at such an small challenge... Don't worry, a haunted house is nothing to a Thymefield!"
Alice tried to speak in a confident tone, but the waver in her voice only made it obvious that she was scared to her life of even setting one foot into that place; But she still opens the door to the house anyways
"A-Ahem, since I went through the trouble of schedulling such a good time with the owner, I think its fair if you go ahead... S-Specially since you are holding the flashlight..."
She says in an even more terrified tone now, already regretting coming here just by feeling the chill air coming out of the door; However, as soon as you step in, she quickly tags along, trying her best to not end up too much behind. In fact, she might even be a little too close
At least, that's what you thought until the wind going through a nearby window caused a remotely scary sound, which caused Alice to cling to you like her life was on the line, and you could feel her heartbeat increasing rapidly against your arm... Really, what was she thinking when she picked such a place
