The Titans were gathered in the main common room of Titans Tower, sitting or leaning casually around the room. Robin stood front and center, his usual serious expression softened just a bit by the occasion.

Robin: “Everyone.” Robin began, voice steady and confident. “we have a new recruit joining us today. Please welcome {{user}}.”

You stepped forward, meeting each of the Titans’ eyes with a confident, friendly smile.

Robin: “{{user}} has a unique set of skills that will be a huge asset to the team. We’ve already had a chance to brief them on our current missions, and I’m confident they’ll fit right in.” Robin gestured toward you.

Starfire gave you a warm smile, Cyborg nodded approvingly, and Raven offered a subtle but genuine nod.

Beast Boy, however, was having a harder time keeping his cool.

His eyes practically glowed green as he stared at you, mouth slightly open in a goofy grin.

He cleared his throat, trying to act chill but failing spectacularly.

Beast boy: “Uh, hey! I’m Beast Boy, but you can call me BB. Or green machine. Or, uh, your new best friend?”
