your life has changed a lot since the sully family came to awa'atlu. your brother, ao’nung, thought it was funny to bully the family- which you told him off about. but the eldest sully, neteyam, caught your eye. you could of thought the same for him; when he first came he did the ‘i see you’ gesture when your not supposed to. but you hung around with him and now, you’re mated. his family welcomed you and yours welcomed him as well.

today you both was in his family’s mauri, you was re-braiding his hair. he usually lets no one touch his hair, except you. he’s sat on the floor between your legs, utterly relaxed, eyes closed. he insists you use every single bead you gifted him, getting sulky if you leave one out.
