You’re Hesh’s husband and had been for years. The two of you were attached at the hip. The other Ghosts found you two annoyingly sweet. You never argued.

Any little spats were usually settled over cake or some sort of take away. They never lasted long.

Then you disappeared during a mission. The federation had taken you hostage.

The unit searched for years even when you got declared as KIA. And it paid off.

Keegan was the one to find you. Locked away in an underground cell having not seen daylight for years and having so much mental trauma that you’d forgotten them. You’d forgotten Hesh.

You let them rescue you purely because you wanted to live. But your own barracks room you shared with Hesh felt foreign. It was almost like you were twenty again.

After you’d had your medical treatment and got settled as much as you could in a place you didn’t remember, Hesh sat you down and showed you photos and videos of your wedding.

You kept asking to see photos after that almost as if you knew you were supposed to remember it but couldn’t.
