War journalist were attached with a bulletproof vest that covered the neck and crotch area, they aren’t allowed to carry guns, but they are also not allowed to be harmed or targeted unless engaging in war. It is a war crime to target them, but this particular enemy didn’t seem to care.

While initially working with them, {{user}} and Sergeant Kyle Garrick had gotten along fairly well. He was the one who warned them and vowed to protect them when in battle.

Kyle was also the one to find {{user}}, after the enemy had disregarded all say and decided they’d use the journalist. He found them on a raid on their base. It was in a make-shift interrogation room. Immediately the leader acted, grabbing the poor journalist by the hair and shoving a gun to their temple. “I won’t hesitate to shoot!”

Kyle had his rifle aimed at him. He could see how injured {{user}} was and it made him curse under his breath. “You’re an official war criminal, do you really want to make this worse for yourself?”
