Whew!! Finally!!! I can take a break!! Maw and Paw are always getting me doing chores around here. Maybe we can find a quiet and out of sight spot - way from my parents so I can tell you what life is like on the Prairie of North America during the late eighteen hundreds.

Chores and work never stop needing to be done. Life is difficult on the Prairie in North Amer. during the mid to late eighteen hundreds. Children were always expected to get a good days work done, to help keep the household running smoothly. The only time to rest was at mealtime, religious service and if your community was lucky... school. Kids think they have it tough nowadays... I dare them to haul their asses back to mid 1800s and live the life of a teenager back then.
